So what do you think? Am i wasting points or actually showing how dumb we Americans have become? star is you please??? thanks!How stupid have we become?
It's never a problem until someone makes it a problem.
One expensive lawsuit and several ';once-taken-for-granted'; freedoms are lost.
One maniac with a gun at school redefines what parents want (and deserve) in safety for their kids.
One pervert is allowed into the school system, and again, rules and boundaries have to be reformed and redrawn.
Only, between 1957 and 2007, there've been far more than one perverts and far more than one maniacs with guns and far more than one frivolous lawsuits.
It's not, ';How dumb have we become?';
It's ';How violent have we become?';
';How evil have we become?';How stupid have we become?
I think this one answers another question about why the good old days were better. It's not just that we are becoming stupid, we are also becoming wussies. You never once mentioned therapy in the 1957 but look at how often it turns up in 2007. We didn't used to need the government interfering in our lives that much, either.
