About 34 years ago I was picked up with an unregistered, loaded pistol. Was arrested and the gun taken. I spent the night in jail. The next day my bondsman told me to just not worry about anything and not to come back in that state again. All I did was the one night and pay a fine. Now the FBI has a record on me and I wondered if this is why.I was told this was only a misdemeanor. I was in Ohio if that matters. Is this why they have a record or did they make a mistake. I'm trying to get a government job. Help!!How tuogh is it to get a Government job if you have a minor FBI record?
From what I hear, any kind of record will work against you. Even really minor stuff like public urination will keep you from getting a job in the FBI (true story). Competition is very strong for those jobs so they can pick the very best.How tuogh is it to get a Government job if you have a minor FBI record?

They absolutely will not accept you because of that, trust. Unless you KNOW SOMEONE.
