School: 1957 vs. 2008, some things to think about?
unfortunatly this is sad but true..Very thought provoking. this is a good one! Just so,so sad that kids can't be kids nowadays. It's true as stated above things have changed and gotten worse but not to the extreme it is made to be now.School: 1957 vs. 2008, some things to think about?
I really wish some of that wasn't so true.
the 1950's were so much better for sure
Sure we have changed, but there was a great deal happening behind closed doors, as well as scandal and ruined lives when things came out in the open. Remember, illegal abortions meant dangerous abortions. People married when unready. There were still gangs, drugs and violence. People were taught to consume and conform in the fifties- that is when our culture of consumption began.
