Career implications of a DUI arrest?

I recently was arrested for a DUI on New Year's Eve. I cooperated, blew twice, once over the limit and once under, posted bail and got on my way. I graduate with my BA this May and I'm wondering how this will affect me?

I previously had been looking into a job as an officer in the military among other types of government jobs (FBI, NSA ect.). Most of the people I've talked to say that this one arrest won't end up being a big deal considering I have a clean record besides this and I just made a mistake. I plan on trying to get it expunged and doing everything I can to show that I learned and I'm remorseful about the situation. I'm wondering what the implications of this mistake will be for future careers, whether it be government jobs, teaching or other things? I feel like this takes the prospect of a military career completely off the table, but I've heard different things. I'd appreciate any help, thank you!Career implications of a DUI arrest?

First thing to remember is that an expunged arrest will still be available to agencies like the FBI (they can see your police record, which is not the same as a criminal record).

I'm not familiar with the internal policies of these agencies, so it would be better to talk to them, or a lawyer, and see what they say.
If you do it a few more times and include drugs etc its a shortcut to President

(if your Dad is already Pres and hushes it up for you..)
its going to be on your record and course the Ins companies love that jacking your rates up. There are so many wanting to go into the service because of no jobs they are getting picky such as discharging a person i know for being over weight after warned. My son was an MP and now ST Trooper but went in during Gulf War 1 but he didnt have and record. Hope you make it.!!
You're good to get into the military, I would wager. But any chance you had with any government agency is basically nil. The NSA needs you squeaky clean, I know for a fact.
