How to become FBI Special Agent?

What is the best possible route to become one? I was thinking I would major in Accounting and get a minor in Crimial Justice. Get a job in a police dept. after 2-3 years apply for a SWAT position with the dept. while doing that take extra classes dealing with negotiations/firearms and defense. Then apply for the special agent position, then for the FBI HRT.? Does this sound good? Any suggestions? I was also going to try to get an internship with the FBI my junior year. How to become FBI Special Agent?
They like untrained officers who do not bring bad habits with them. It is easier to train someone who is fresh.

You do need a bachelors degree in criminal justice, pyschology, accounting, or business. How to become FBI Special Agent?
Contact or call your nearest FBI office and ask them to send you a job description. And ask them what what degree would do you the most good. They'll direct you to the proper person/office to write to for the info. You will probably need to take a test (the one I took for a Federal civilian job was at least 3 hrs long); what job you would get would depend upon your aptitude.
i wanna work for the FBI too

they already told me if you have any tickets or any thing on your record you cant work for them because the surplus there getting

im doing criminal justice major...work for the police until im 23 or 24 then go to virginia
All that is required of you to be a government employee is that you can piss on the Constitution from 5 ft.
Go to the FBI, ask for an application. Where it says ';position applying for';, put ';special agent';. They will do the rest.
