Obama: ';New Yorkers have reminded us once again of how to live with their heads held high.'; Anyone offended?

I find that really offensive the part about New Yorkers teaching us how to not live in fear, really offensive. I feel like I'm a New Yorker now, and I'm grumpy enough today to be a New Yorker that everybody thinks New Yorkers are like. First of all, New Yorkers are no different than anybody else. New Yorkers are some of the friendliest people that you'll find anywhere around the country. While they are not going to invite you over for some nice sweet tea like we make it here in New York, they are some of the nicest people that you would meet. They are.

And this guy has a pattern of not trusting the police officers. So don't please, Mr. President, don't insult me and compliment the police officers, ';Oh, well, they didn't act stupidly this time; they got it done. Well, they weren't acting racist this time.'; If any of those police officers would have said, that guy is a Pakistani, oh, we why the racism! So please don't insult us. And the FBI, again I know people at the FBI. I've worked with the people at the FBI in Manhattan... These guys get it. They are vigilant, they are sharp, they know the score and they are doing their job, and thank you, FBI. Eric Holder, GO POUND SAND. Bloomberg, GO POUND SAND. Mr. President, with all due respect, GO POUND SAND.Obama: ';New Yorkers have reminded us once again of how to live with their heads held high.'; Anyone offended?
No. Our President gave New Yorkers a compliment. -]Obama: ';New Yorkers have reminded us once again of how to live with their heads held high.'; Anyone offended?
No.
WTF?
you've never really been in new york city or have evr known a true new yorker to make those comments lol
Not really. New York has survived a lot throughout the history of the colonies and the US. In the last 20 years we've had 3 terrorists attacks, 1 accidental plane crash in a building, and ';the Hero of the Hudson';
Perhaps you should purchase a clue.....
I think you're just a mite oversensitive. What Obama said was a compliment.
that's a nice long wacky rant

...good for you silly boy
Yes I am offended!

He did not include the rest of this country's citizens!
I'm not offended. I'm a New Yorker and I agree. We know that we're in the middle of this terror dance between the government and the media. We're being used and our lives are being put in danger to allow idiots like you to have a topic to argue about online and be propagandized with by the media. The FBI is no more vigilant than the average department store security guard. With all the drugs being moved around New York out in the open law enforcement has nothing to stand on.

We know it's all joke but we still go out every day to do what we have to. Yes, for that New York should be proud. Remember we're a city that was seen as a liberal drug den by the rest of the country for over 40 years but once 9/11 happen and we lost 3000 people all of the sudden the hypocrites of this country were waving Chinese made walmart American flags in our name... Please... New York City has no choice but to walk with it's head held high.
My question is more like: Doesn't all of this make anyone suspicious except me?

The chances of that bomb doing anything except catching the gas cans on fire is pretty slim.

This is after the Shoe Bomber, and the Boxer Bomber.

None of their bombs work, all of their bombers talk.

My suspicion is that the bombs were not supposed top work, the bombers were supposed to get caught, and they were supposed to talk.

Whether they were coached about what to say, or just dupes who were only told what Al Qaeda wants us to know... are we being conned into thinking that Al Qaeda is falling apart, incompetent, and going after ';cliche'; targets like planes, subways, and Times Square?

They could in fact be using these guys as a diversion, while they set up the next BIG ONE.
most cops are scum bags who should be behind bars and most are also wife beaters
