i was wondering cause that is what i signed up for, i did want rifleman and i love the job because i want to try out for FBI after college. although i wanted to go active but the recruiters arent allowing any actives in right now, i am in shape i can do 20 pull ups 100 sit ups, did them at meps, my run well its not 100% but i can pass and i am working on it, but my question is what is it like, will i get deployed more then once (cause i want to) and how do i become an active/reservist....(basicly someone who is on reserve duty but them become activated without changing there contract or renewing it) and where would i live or stay? do i get an apartment i share with other people? or do i get to sleep outside P :)What is life like as a marine 0311 reserves (rifleman)?
Your best bet would be to sign up for a marines yahoo group and ask there. You'd probably get many more answers than here and all of them would be helpful.
