What military branch is best for me?

Ok so i plan to go in the military not for a while though because im too young. but i dont know what to join. Should i join the marines? those are some insane soldiers right there, but i dont know how well there benifits are. What about the army? I dont know how much action they get, but i hear they have great benifits. What about a Spec Ops unit... dont know much about their lifestyle. I was even considering being a millitary police officer, an FBI agent, or a Secret Service member.

I dont know what to do!!! Basically i want a job with good benifits, high pay, and as much action as i can get. I was thinking i could go into the Marines for a few years, then go to Law School, or Business school. I dont know i just would like a little help, about what carrer would be best for me out of the listed.

Please help! What military branch is best for me?
sounds like ur real intent on being a ground pounder so id say army. like u said marines and spec ops are serious deals that once u go in its not something u just wanna drop.

secret service requires alot of devotion and trust also.

if your serious about the military any of the above would be great. otherwise u may want to consider the army or maybe even national guard or reserve. not saying the army is less important cuz its not but its a little less of a patriotic commitment then the more serious branches. an MP would be a great choice also. What military branch is best for me?
Your in over your head mate.

Army and marines get equal amount of action. Just marines is a tougher job.

To be in special forces, you can't just sign up. You have to be in the military for year's, with special qualifications and physically fit!

FBI work's with the government not military.

If you want action and some benefits out of it. Join any military service. They all get action and qualifications out of the job.

You can even be a lawyer in themilitaryy. try law school first...

Try looking up the jobs on your countries army website.
I would suggest Navy. but first you have to take the ASVAB. the higher the score the better the job. i was in the Navy and my job was anti ship missile defense. I had a cool job in the intelligence community. Also the traveling is great.

dont hate just because you cant make a good score to even get in the Navy.
The Air Force has the best lifestyle out of all the branches from what I heard. Deployments are usually 3 months (6 for Security Forces), and sometimes you don't even deploy you just go on missions for around a week. Army deploys for a up to 18 months, and the Marines also have lengthy deployments.
If you join any branch- go in as what you want to major in. If its law then the navy/marines have JAG, Im not sure what the Army or Airforce has, I do know that your school is taken care either way. go in as Commision officer.

Maybe you will mature, but as of this moment, I'd say your perception of the Military, and of Service, is clouded... when I see questions like '; i want a job with good benifits, high pay, and as much action as i can get';, I just shake my head.
You should probably wait when you're older and try talking to some recruiters.

And don't listen to people when say you'll get shot at if you join the Marines and Army. Thats not all the Marines and Army are about. Don't bother listening to those retards.
Join the airforce.

They take very good care of you

compared to other branches.

Housing, medical, dental, for you

and your spouse.

Be like a mechanic, it safer than

being in front lines adn you get deployed alot

if thats what your after.
Consider the Air Force. Many Air Force careers are regular, 9-5 type jobs, which gives you the opportunity to go to school at night, and live an otherwise mostly normal life.
If I had to do it again.

Air Force.

Marines are crazy and you get shot at.

Army you get shot at too

Navy sucks because you're on a ship all the time.
Check out Army or Air Force logistics (supply corp)

Behind every great General there is a logistician telling him if he can really do what he wants.
I'd stick with the Salvation Army.
this pic we help u make up ur mind, http://www.mustangmods.com/data/1708/mil also just to say im army and i love it
benefits are the same where ever u go.. but remember the marines are a dept. of the navy... the mens dept..
High pay doesn't come to mind when I think of the word military. But if you meant bonus pay, well, it may be true (also reenlistment pay). But do think about it, why would they have to pay to entice anyone to stay in or to sign up in the first place.

I was in the USAF years ago. That would be the best option for you at this time.

You want a lot of actions.. means going to war. If that is what you want, the others will keep you busy. The Air Force you will spend more time in class. What do you think will be better for your future when you are discharged.
If I were you, I would talk to a recruiter for each of the branches to get all your questions answered correctly. I was going in the Air force, but wound up in the Army Reserves. It gave me two skills and I didn't want to go full time. That was best for me. When you take the ASVAB test prior, you can get a bonus in the Army for what your score is. The ASVAB test was tougher for the Air Force standards.

Take your interests and talk to them. You don't have to make a commitment yet and you can learn from each of them. Also, you can ask about civilian job pay scales when you get out from colleges around you.

You sound like you are interested in the police force or law school, so I would lean towards those.

Best wishes to you.
if you want to enlist in the military for money, just gtfo and go back to your xbox 360 right now.

what do you mean by benefits ? everyone in the military gets the same basic benefits like the GI bill, medical, dental, etc. regardless of branch, pay is based on rank. an E-3 in the army would get the same base pay an an E-3 in the marines. you would see action in both the army and the marines infantry.

as for special operations, their lifestyle can be summed up as dangerous, difficult, and *** breaking. you have to be very fit to even be considered for training.

FBI or secret service huh ? go earn a bachelor's degree, get a few years of work experience and then try your luck. you better bring something special to their table or else your chances of getting in are slim.
