What's it like to work in the FBI?

I'm currently working my way towards working for the FBI and I would like to know an insider's point of view on the good sides and down sides of working there. Please state positives and negatives of working there. Specifically I would like to know how frequently you get to spend time with your family, an estimate of what you make yearly, how many hours a day you would usually work, how stressful it is or is not, whether or not if you have time to do extracurricular activities such as going to church or hanging out with friends after work, and how fun/rewarding the job is. Also, if you don't mind I would like to know why you joined the Agency. Thanks.What's it like to work in the FBI?
