How difficult is it to get a job with the FBI?

I just graduated from college and am applying to several government jobs... and want to apply as a linguist... is it difficult? Whether it's part time or full time, i just want to know how hard it is to get in with them. How difficult is it to get a job with the FBI?
Dude, very difficult to get even a job as a linguist! Not to say the FBI! It's better to completely master two language than knowing a bit of ten languages.

Besides, FBI does not take wusses. How difficult is it to get a job with the FBI?
Competition is tight since most of the government positions offer better benefits than private sector. I'd guess they do a throughout background check, fingerprints, fill out an SF85-P, etc.
Go to usajobs.gov and check out what the FBI has available. As well as the background check, fingerprints, etc you will have to undergo a polygraph test. I know they ask all kinds of questions, personal and others, so be prepared to be truthful, if you fail the polygraph, you are out the door.
for FBI - the first rule is that you must be an american citizen, and it is preferable that you do not have any dual citizenship - because implies that you will not be loyal to the USA.
