How much respect do degrees from community colleges get?

I was just wondering if I attend a community college, when applying for my job with the FBI / SBI (I'm getting a Criminal Justice degree), will they look down their noses so to speak at my degree? Or will it not really matter? How much respect do degrees from community colleges get?
You better look into the requirements to work for the FBI. I believe you have to have a 4 year degree to be an agent. If you're just pursuing an associates degree you'll have to get it at a community college since universities don't confer 2 year degrees. Going to a community college first is a smart way to go. Cost less plus u get a degree for the 2 yrs. u invested. At a university after the first 2 yrs you don't get a degree, just 2 yrs of college. Do your research first. If ur going to get an associates degree then go on for a bachelors you better look into the transferability of the courses u will be taking at the community college. How much respect do degrees from community colleges get?
I don't think it matters. I graduate in June with my associates degree from a community college. However i am going on for my Bachelors degree in elementary education. With your degree, no matter what kind of school it comes from, shows your dedication to working hard and it shows your commitment to your education. Thats mainly what employers look for. Good luck!
