I want to join the FBI, how does this sound?

Well, I'm currently 18. I'm enrolled in college and am a Criminal Justice Major. I love Criminal Justice. My goal is to become a Special Agent for the FBI and do something involving investigation/security.



I plan to enlist in the Air Force for 6 years. I am going to join ';Security Forces';, and while enlisted attend the Air Force College, and finish my Criminal Justice Degree. So at the age of 25, I will be finished with the Air Force having 6 years of Military/Security experience and training, and also a 4 year degree in Criminal Justice.



My Past:

I have never been arrested, never fired from a job.

I have tried Weed twice as a student, and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I have never tried any other drug, experimented or sold any other drugs.



I only have one thing on my record, and thats speeding, going 74 in a 65 and he wouldn't give me a warning :( Lol.



Anyway, just want some thoughts and opinions and what I'm planning on doing, and do you think that with my choices and the experience I will gain, will that help me get a job in the FBI? Would that look good on a application with them?

Everything sounds good but the major in school.



The FBI will have 10,000 Criminal Justice students applying. Set yourself apart.



Learn a language (Chinese, Arabic, Farsi, Russian, Korean, Kurdish, etc.)



Major in something like Law, Accounting, Computers (that's a big one anymore) or one of the sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)



That, combined with the military, will put you in a better spot.I want to join the FBI, how does this sound?

I do not know enuff about the fbi except that they are nosy. So, I can only give you spiritual advice. Do not try to be a big brother if you cannot be a good one who is not corrupt. How is that?
This is an excellent resume. Military service is highly respected, and choosing a law enforcement related AFSC (Air Force Specialty Code) can only help you when you choose a Law Enforcement carreer after discharge.



The marijuanna issue should be irrelevant. Minor experimentation - especially with proof that you reversed course, and evidence of mature decision making and responsibility (such as military service!) will more than eliminate that as a consideration.
Why in the world would you join the FBI, they're instrumental in destroying our Civil Rights. Besides, their founder was a gay little cross-dressing f**k who jailed people for doing the same thing.



Why don't you look up the biographies of Leonard Peltier, Martin Luther King (oh yes my friend the FBI kept a BIG file on MLK), Jean Seberg, Randy Weaver, and think again about doing some GOOD in the world, which would be to NOT join the FBI.



The FBI is a rogue organization which must be dismantled if we're ever going to have peace in this country, and respect for ALL people of color, which they don't.



Unless of course, you're a hater in which case you'll fit right in!!
